Tortilla fiesta (ENG)
Slightly belatedly, we celebrated Cinco de Mayo, which is traditionally marked in the
Hispanic world on 5th May, as the name suggests. The celebration of this colourful festival
marks the victory of the Mexican army over the French in the Battle of Pueblo way back in
1860- something.
The celebration at Vodnikova was extremely well attended, and our students were delighted
with the torillas and Sangria.
