Data Manager: SVIJET JEZIKA ustanova za obrazovanje odraslih, is registered in the Companies' Register of Zagreb Commercial Court, TAX REG. NO. (OIB):08889648110, Reg. No.:080628860, Zagreb Commercial Court, Represented by Neđeljka Batinović, Principal.
In the procedure of processing personal data and the protection of individuals in relation to the processing of personal data, and the regulations related to the free movement of personal data, SVIJET JEZIKA, ustanova za obrazovanje odraslih (hereinafter: The Institute), the Data
Manager is obliged to apply the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (hereinafter: the GDPR) and take care of the security of the data you give up when you use the internet site www.vodnikova.hr
The personal data of physical persons are processed by the Institute lawfully, honestly and transparently.
Only appropriate and relevant personal data are processed, exclusively for special, expressed and lawful purposes, and they are not processed further in any way that is not in accordance with those purposes.
The personal data the Institute processes are accurate and are up-dated as necessary. Personal data which are not accurate shall be deleted or corrected without delay.
The Institute shall process personal data exclusively in a way which ensures the appropriate security of personal data, including protection from unauthorized or unlawful processing, and from accidental lose, destruction or damage, by applying the appropriate technical and organizational measures.
We protect your data by:
• implementing a database using pseudonyms whenever possible,
• using security methods when processing your personal data in order to prevent unauthorized access, using contemporary security methods to control access to data resources containing personal data.
• constant monitoring of all resources used to process personal data.
The Institute protects personal data in line with the GDPR and the Act on Implementation of the GDPR (OG 42/2018).
The Institute stores personal data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes for which those personal data are processed. As an exception, personal data may be stored for a longer period of time, but only if they are to be processed for the purpose of storage in the public
interest, for scientific or historical research, or for statistical purposes. When you visit our web site, all your personal data will remain secret.
The institute collects the smallest quantity of personal data possible, and uses them exclusively for the purpose for which they are collected and of which you are informed.
If you send an e-mail with personal data with various inquiries or comments, the Institute shall use those data exclusively for the purpose of responding to the client's inquiry.
In the case of on-line testing, registration for examinations (for external candidates), for court interpreters, various inquiries, registration for workshops etc. the Institute shall use your data
for the sake of contact and registration of participants in courses etc, and for the purpose of recording visits to the site, and sending information about the Institute's offers.
The Institute guards all personal data strictly and they are only accessible by persons who need those data for doing their job.
We use the following personal data:
• name and surname, name and surname of parents, address, personal identification number (OIB), date of birth, gender, country of birth and citizenship, mobile phone number and contact information (e-mail address, telephone number), personal ID number, information about the type of contract relationship or type of registration for an examination for external candidates.
CONSENT:
We process your personal data on the basis of your consent.
For all personal data collected and processed for which no legal ground or contract
relationship exists, we need the subject's consent.
The subject's consent means any voluntary, specific, informed and unambiguous expression
of will of the subject, who by a statement or by a clear act of confirmation, gives consent to
processing personal data relating to him or her.
DATA PROCESSING:
The Institute shall only process personal data insofar as one of the following requirements is met:
• the subject has given consent for processing of their personal data for one or more specific purposes,
• the processing is necessary to fulfil the contract or obligations within the work of the Institute, to which the subject is a party,
• the processing is necessary in order to respect the Institute's legal obligations,
• the processing is necessary to protect the key interests of the subject or another physical person,
• the processing is necessary to fulfil a task of public interest or as part of the public authority of Svijet jezika.
• the processing is necessary for the needs of the legitimate interests of the Institute or a third party, except in the case when the interests or fundamental rights and freedoms of the subjects who require protection of their personal data are stronger than those interests, especially if the subject is a child.
The Institute shall process and store personal data pursuant to the Act on Adult Education (OG 17/2007), the Regulation on Public Documents in Adult Education, the Regulation on the Content, Form and Management and Storage of Adult Education Documents, and the
Regulation on Storage, Use, Selection and Exclusion of Archive and Registry Material of the
Institute.
By registering and accessing the Institute's web site, a person gives the Institute consent to process their personal dana, including in on-line testing, on-line registration for examinations or workshops, and registration using the contact form.
The Institute shall use those data in order to conclude a contract on education, to create an enrolment form, and for informative purposes, and in order to promote the Institute's services.
The Institute may not use personal data without authorization nor send them to third persons, except in cases when this is permitted by law or it is necessary for the purpose of meeting contractual obligations.
All employees of the Institute and all business associates of the Institute are responsible for respect of the protection of personal data.
THE PURPOSE OF DATA PROCESSING:
Your personal data may be processed by the Institute for the purpose of:
- on-line testing, or enrolment in a course/module,
- for provision of a service,
- to respond to your inquiry and resolve your requests,
- to send promotion materials and advertising,
- for communication with students and for other purposes, with written consent.
YOUR RIGHTS:
Regardless of the legal ground for processing data, you have the right to:
• access, amend or supplement data,
• deletion ("the right to be forgotten") of personal data, if there is no justified or legitimate reason to keep data.
• restriction of processing of your data or to object to processing of data,
• if the data was given on the basis of consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time without any negative consequences, delete personal data which relates to the subject, under the condition that personal data are no longer needed in relation to the purpose for which they were collected or if the subject withdraws the consent on which the processing is based.
• the right to file a complaint with the competent supervisory body - in Croatia that is the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency (for more see azop.hr).
If a person does not wish the Institute to process their personal data in any way, and requests the deletion of data, and there is no statutory obligation to preserve data, the person must inform the Institute of this in writing to the following e-mail address:
