Motivational Letters- German language workshop

Success can be learned

The workshop held for German language speakers -MOTIVATIONAL LETTERS

(MOTIVATIONSSCHREIBEN- COVER LETTER) - which aimed to teach participants how

to draw up a concise and informative motivational letter, and avoid the typical mistakes in

writing it, achieved its aim. Many participants wrote comments from which it may be

concluded that the workshop was extremely encouraging, useful, with many practical

examples and a diverse structure. "Excellent interaction with students. Well done to the

teacher for her effort!"

The Work of a Business in Foreign Trade

After a brief presentation, participants had the opportunity to work on texts related to this aspect of their work; orders and returns, general terms of delivery, payment instruments in foreign trade, international conventions (INCOTERMS, certificates and documents) and the legal aspects of foreign sales agreements. In addition to the relevant vocabulary, we practised the structures and linguistic functions needed in the relevant situations (confirmation, reminders, presenting a reasoned case, asking for understanding, disagreement, dissatisfaction...)

The advantage is that the groups are small so everyone has the chance to say something...
